Just Fate is #96 in the Camfield series and was published in August 1991. Mena's widowed sister is determined to catch the Duke of Kernthorpe as her next husband, but first he wishes to meet her mother. As she has no intention of leaving Mena behind as Lais wishes, Mena becomes her mother's companion. Soon she meets the Duke but can't reveal who she really is!
In this cover by Forlag, we see our couple riding in the woods together. Our heroine has no hat, but is otherwise dressed for riding. We have no other hint about how they meet or why they're riding together! It's a pretty spring day and the artist does a good job drawing the horses.
